Pebble in the pond employability course - 26th July 2017

Through funding from ESF we have delivered an employability course to prepare young people and young mums for the world of work. The course started in January 2017 and we have delivered to Cohorts so far. There have been 24 participants who have gained qualifications in;

Equality & Diversity Level 3

Paediatric First Aid Level 2

Food Safety Level 2

Completed learning modules in English and Maths

Gained IT skills

Interview Techniques, CV Writing

Motivational sessions and sessions

Work search


The course is for 2 days per week and lunches and child care has been provided


Six young people have entered work and the remainder have moved on into volunteer positions to gain further experience and also Further education.


We have our final cohort starting on 1st August which is to run for 12 weeks (12 Young people have signed onto the programme)

Microbes To Mosquitoes: Science Activities with University of Liverpool & LSTM - 28th March 2017

Starting March 30th the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and the University of Liverpool are joining our Youth Club to perform a series of interactive workshops right here at Centre 63!

Kids can perform real experiments with real scientists! Completely free!

It's free to join our Youth Club and free food is provided for your child.

Ages 8-12: 4:30pm - 6:30pm
Ages 13-17 6:45pm - 20:30pm
