The Volunteer Project supports young people aged 16 - 25 yrs who are N.E.E.T. (Not in Employment, Education or Training). Young people who are accessing the project receive tailored support through "individual action planning" which is specific to their needs.

The latest addition to the Volunteer Project is the Employability Programme, which increases the employability of particuipants and helps them to be a valuable member in the workplace. This programme teaches basic job skills, as well as help on how to be successful in job applications and interviews. Within this course, participants also gain a Functional Skills qualificaion in both English and maths - this is a well-known qualification which makes you more attractive to employers, and it is recognised by any business.

This course is targeted at 16 - 24 year olds, and is completed over 16 hours; these hours are made up during employability sessions at the Centre. These sessions are held every Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:30am until3pm, and Thursday from 9:30am until midday.

Within this programme, a Functional Skills qualification in English and maths is undertaken - this is a well-known qualification and is recognised and viewed favourably by any potential employers.

Any 16 - 24 year olds are welcome, so drop in to the Centre and get signed up!
